Luke, a Colorado native, grew up in the Roaring Fork Valley in Carbondale, Colorado. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Exercise and Sport Science from Colorado State University and his Master's of Physical Therapy in 1997 from University of Miami. Luke has worked with athletes from every major professional sport and currently enjoys working with high school and collegiate athletes. Luke opened Panther Physical Therapy in October 2006, primarily to maintain a working environment that would ensure that all patients will receive the optimal care they deserve. Luke has a passion for working with any individual who is willing to take an active part in their healing process.
In his spare time, Luke enjoys spending time with his daughter Skyler and son Murphy. He enjoys coaching Murphy's wrestling and baseball teams and Skyler's soccer team. Luke also enjoys playing golf and has a passion for the sport of rugby.
Chris joined Panther Physical Therapy in January 2007 as a clinical Athletic Trainer. Her treatment focuses on assessing musculoskeletal injuries, mechanical dysfunction, manual therapy, acute and chronic pain treatment, rehabilitation and developing home exercise programs.
Chris graduated with a B.A. in Kinesiology in 1991 from University of Northern Colorado and with her M.S. degree in Sport Administration from Northern Illinois University in 1993. She received a certification in 1991 as a Board Certified Athletic Trainer. Chris has worked on the medical staff for both Division I and Division II collegiate athletics. She has spent 14 years working in out-patient physical therapy and four years as an outreach clinical coordinator to 18 Jefferson County High Schools. Chris has also worked as a clinical assistant/Certified Athletic Trainer in the osteopathic setting. Her training includes emergency care, evaluation and rehabilitation of injuries with a wide age range of clients from adolescent to seniors. Chris enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. In her free time, she loves running, reading and watching her children's sporting events.
John is a Colorado native and completed his Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Colorado Denver Campus. He discovered his passion for physical therapy while recovering from his many injuries sustained while ski racing internationally. John has extensive knowledge and interest in injury rehabilitation/prevention, post-surgical rehabilitation, and spine rehabilitation with a wide range of clients ranging from adolescent to seniors.
He is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists. John's additional passions include being an avid outdoor enthusiast with his wife and dog. He especially enjoys skiing, rock climbing and mountain biking.
Kyle is from Mukilteo (north of Seattle), WA. He completed his Bachelors of Arts degree in neuroscience in 2007 at Pomona College in Claremont, CA where he also competed in varsity football. After numerous injuries, including 2 knee surgeries Kyle solidified his commitment to becoming a physical therapist. In 2010, he received his Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from University of Colorado Denver.
Kyle has broad clinical interests and is passionate about improving the function, health, and wellness of his patients! He also practices at Colorado Acute Long Term Hospital and University of Colorado Hospital; where he is aiding in research pertaining to early physical therapy with patients who are critically ill in the intensive care unit and require mechanical ventilation.
Dr. Ridgeway is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists (AAOMPT). He enjoys playing golf, skiing, downhill mountain biking, and various other outdoor and athletic adventures.
Matt is a Certified Athletic Trainer from southern New Mexico and graduated from New Mexico State University in 1992 with a degree in Sports Medicine. In 1993 he got certified as specialist in strength and conditioning and in 2000 while working for Hanger Orthotics and Prosthetics was certified as an Orthotist.
Matt was the head athletic trainer at Colorado Academy for 16 years, and has been the head athletic trainer at Columbine High School for the past 4 years. Matt is married to Angie and they have 3 children, Jordyn 20, Jared 17, and Jim 17and he currently plays ice hockey competitively as a goalie.
